Congratulations to GLWG member Jenny Schu! She is a recipient of an Individual Artist Grant of $1,000 from the Arts Council of Greater Lansing! According to this article, Jenny:
was awarded funding for her project, "Impressionistic Natural Beadweaving," which will inclde the completion of a series of sculptural bead woven mixed media pieces representing impressionistic natural scenes. The kick-off presentation will take place at the Lansing Art Gallery in Spring 2012, and the final exhibit will take place March through April 2013 at Grove Gallery Co-op.
